The great Football experiment continues : Can Carlton and Sydney win away from home? Suggestions have been flooding in for a while now. Some say maybe if we put a backdrop of the Sydney Harbour Bridge or the Opera House behind the goals, the Swans will feel more at home and click back into gear....& If we play some pre recorded crowd noise over the loud speaker in Brisbane next week, Carlton might think the crowd are on their side and lift up again.

The Lions are the real deal now, no matter where they go. And the Crows are not far behind, just starting to emerge.....Should we be aware of the fury?

Steve Johnson is back in Norm SmMith medal form, and dare I say, get that Coleman medal. 6 goals and a whole lot more...

And last but not least we would like to commend the AFL for extending their vilification rules to include sexual orientation. You're making us love you even more.

Tennis...The French Open is well underway, and lil Lleyton made it to Nadal, woo hoo!

He's still our number 1 man. Nadal has made a bold fashion statement this open wearing a fluoro pink shirt. Are you just trying to keep up with Serena , or are you crossing to our side of the fence? Im sure Boh and Brendon would be happy for you to join their team. All reports say next week he may be sporting a diamond studed purse to match his new outfit, which could be fabulous.

Poor Jelena is out with a back injury, but she was in great form before beeing forced to retire. More love goes out to Dokic..Geez we give our love away too easily lol. Groth and Stosur are left to fly the flag.



NRL...State of Origin is on this Wednesday again. Are you a Cockroach or a Canetoad?...Sounds tempting with such appealing names, but thankfully Im neither. So I can just enjoy the game. Go the Storm!...No seriously may the best team win, and BRING BACK LAURIE DALEY!


Soccer...The FA cup has been won by Chelsea, over Everton. Sorry Tim Cahill :-(


Barcelona beats Manchester United in the Champions league, much to the delight of the Liverpool fans. Could Soccer have any more Leagues or any more Teams? It's starting to get confusing for us AFL lovers :-S. Im still not sure who is allowed in the Champions League. It appears to be only the best teams who are allowed in. In that case, my Nephews under 12 Soccer team is pretty good, can they play in the League too?....

The Socceroos Squad has also been selected for the World Cup. We will find out who made the cut and who missed out, all the big ins and outs from our expert.

Basketball...Just have to mention that the Melbourne Tigers are still alive, and kicking, yee haw. Lets face it it wouldn't be the NBL or half a league without them. And they win more games than Richmond, but it wouldn't be hard (Sorry Tig's :-P).

This week we chat to a member of the Melbourne Arganauts Rowing club. We will find out if there is any Trash talk in their sport. Maybe some boat rocking or intimidation over the megaphone. The Melbourne Vixens dont talk trash in the Netball, as we found out in our interview last week with Brooke Thompson. But they dont really need to anyway cause they just keep winning!

Racing...Apache Cat is still our No 1, Group 1 horse. But will the semi-bald cat be challenged by another feline in 'Nothin Leica Cat'?

Mr Ed interview update: Ed was seen this week at a table tennis tournament in Peru. We went in to talk to him in the post match press conference, but instead of fronting up to the media, Ed was quietly ushered out the back and snuck into a limo...ok a milk Truck. But we're still on the chase/case

AFL... Aka played well in big game 300 & Brad Johnson could have covered the Dogs in glory after the Siren...but the Cats spoiled the party and held on by 2 points.

What a game! Who needs round 14! The Cats and Saints are vulnerable!

Johnson might've tried harder to kick the winning goal for Aka, but apparently he was still bitter from not getting an invite to Aka's wedding. Even though the two didnt really know eachother at the time...bizzare. I didnt get an invite either hrrmmm.

NRL...And the drama continues at Shark Head Quarters. Tensions reach reach boiling point as it is revealed the CEO 'ACCIDENTLY' punched one of his staff in the eye. Sure it was an accident. I know I accidently punch myself in the face all the time, it's easy to do.

Netball...Our correspondent will be at the Vixens v Swifts game on Monday night. We will see if we can grab one of Melbournes stars for a chat, if they arent too tired from massive undefeatedness!

F1...Mark Webber is a chance to be strong in Monaco (fingers crossed). Who knows what can happen at this GP. This track has more twists and turns than J-Lo's love life! And Alonso's F1 career!...Will Jenson Button do it again, or is he quaking in his backwards driving boots?


Tennis...woo hoo its Grand Slam time again at the French Open!...Poor LLeyton has an early meeting with Clay King Nadal, but I think theres some fight in him yet grrr.
Our girls are looking strong with Sam Stosur leading the way. We ask all the important questions. Who will take the tittle? Who will wear the prettiest outfit?....To be continued.......

As they say on Lost, the universe has a way of course correcting itself. Freo's losing streak has come to an end and the Hawks are back on the winners list. The Dockers missed some chances, but no way to go, no heave ho.

NRL....Its heritage round and the 1st Vs 2nd Blockbuster lives up to it's hype. The Bulldogs looked to steal the match but their controversial try was not allowed. Everybody say awwww. Sorry but you know when it comes to rugby league, my blood is Fluorescent orangey red and white...Yes my doctor is disturbed too...Go Dragons!

Bulldogs fans showed their appreciation by hurling debri at the players...classy.

Netball....What more can we say except that the Vixens are still undefeated!

And in Soccer, another Premier League tital win to Manchester United, no surprises there.

Cricket...Mumbai and Warneys Rajistan Royals go to the wire. There was a late charge from Mumbai and then, with almost a wicket every ball, the Royals steal victory in the last over!
One of Warnes team mates was quoted as saying:

The F1 GP is on in Spain with Benjamin Button in pole again, and still driving backwards....Mark Webber starts in 5th, fingers crossed for a podium finish..............

Soccer controversy in the Champions leage with bad reff'ing and Drogba letting him know about it! One of the biggest dummy spits in sport history :-P


Tennis...And Domir is at it again! Blaming Australia for everything that has ever gone wrong in his life, and likely some more bomb threats too. Poor Jelana..... And tennis star Gasquet fails a drug test...hrrrmmm.

Hose Racing....There was nasty carnage at the Jumps racing with unfortunate results to horses and jockeys. We wish them all the best. There have been calls to ban the sport, and everyone seems to be divided on this issue...But none the less we will be keen to hear Ed's thoughts on this.
