Put your thinking caps on...It's contract time!

AFL...Richmond and North Melbourne are now shopping for new coaches, and many coaches are about to finish up their contracts, but who will go where? And who will be first to snag Bucks?.....
It was revealed this week that Dean Laidly wanted to leave the Kangaroos after the finals last year, but President Brayshaw begged him to stay twice since then. Laidly could quite possibly be the first North Melbourne supporter in history who is not in denial about his teams lack of success. The next coach will most likely be another North Melbourne past player to keep the delusions of grandeur afloat.

Wayne Carey's comeback in a charity match this week lasted all of about 15 minutes, before tearing his calf off a step, pfffffffffft lol. He proved once and for all who the real charity case is. This performance was second only to Sam Newman who once pulled a hamstring in the Commentary box. Or was it in bed kicking off the blankets? Either way it's pretty bad. No chance of reliving the glory days for Wayne.
On saturday night Barry hall does a reverse Cousins on the Umpire, giving him the thumbs up. Just when you thought he was going to turn the other finger. But either way it didnt do anything for the Swans.

Did's fired up in the end after the Pies fall asleep in the 3rd quarter, and the Collingwood snatch the win.

Mick Malthouses 600th game as coach gets a mention too, despite beeing Collingwood related news.

On Friday night Football the only highlight for the Dee's was Liam Jurrah in his first game. His first goal in footy was spectacular and ROBOESQUE.
Brad Green was hurt and we almost had another stretcher incident on our hands for Melbourne, but he decided to walk it off instead.

Geelong didnt have a great win over Freo, but Burnsey gets a mention for kicking 5 goals! Dont think he ever thought he'd be hunted down for a post match interview, but what'dya know! GO Bunga!...Its good for ya tips anyway.

The Porpus has the Bye this week. Footy returns to normal next week.
Tennis...An exhibition match took place between Hewitt and Rapha this week. Just when we thought it was safe to celebrate a Lleyton victory, Nadal has a gimp knee. But we'll take it anyway, go Lleyts ;-). He's still technically our number one man.

Tomic is nowhere to be seen, and Gooch and Looch R in the mix but have missed out on Wimbledon.
Stosur,Groth and Dokic R our top hopes for the biggest tournament of the year.
Wimbledon with a roof!....And with Rapha pulling out of the competition, Roger looks set to be the first man to take the all time Grand Slam total to 15!
F1...The British GP has been won and run. After taking Pole Red Bulls Vettel has won the Race! Not to mention Australia's Mark Webber has taken his 3rd 2nd place! Jenson Button has cracked under the pressure of his home GP finishing 6th, and has possibly started ageing forward from stress.
In shcok news, it looks like there will be a break-away championship with F1's biggest names pulling out of the main compettion. The FIA will likely sue, eek.
Rugby League...State of Origin game 2 is on this week and we will all wait with baited breath to see if the Wolf Man is going to keep the pink beard, or dye it Blue for NSW...Yes we ask the big questions!
Cricket...The 20/20 final is happening between Pakistan and SriLanka. Who will take the crown? Either way at least England didn't get in the Final :-P. We dont need their Ego's inflating before the Ashes.
We talk to ALPHA magazine's Anthony Sharwood about the upcoming Ashes preview issue of the magazine. Last time he revealed all the Meat Pie and Hot Dog hot spots. And all the evil venues charging us for sauce :-/, who knows what he will have in store for us this week.

Soccer....Lat but not least The Socceroos were awsome on Wednesday night against Japan with Tim Cahill scoring 2 goals, after Japan got the first..WOO HOO! We rock!

All that n more on the show that goes through more balls than Roger Federer.
Peace out*
