It's an almost impossible miracle...We actually bloody won!

Cricket.......Could it be... yes it could...somethings coming..something good! After a disastrous second innings, collapsing and making only 127, Australia pulled a Bradbury and won the test! Fortunately, the other contender suffered an even bigger collapse, and we casually skated past them to Victory! What are the chances you can beat someone, when you make 127 and they make 139?? Mathematically boggling :-s....but we'll take it!

Ricky Ponting's controversial decision to bat first in the second Test against Pakistan was vindicated by a 36-run victory. From Villain to hero in about 30 seconds!..It's that easy! Spinner Nathan Hauritz (5-53), taking the last wicket, and batting saviour Mike Hussey (134) were the heroes as the tourists let the Test slip through their fingers.
Mike Hussey did make a large number of runs and was re-instated as Mr Cricket, however, he was dropped about 9 times in the field on the way. His title was removed, and he was then instated at Mr Kitten.

In even better news, we have finally found the new Warnie!..Steven Smith! Spin bowler and all..According to the Herald Sund, the similarities are scary. The blond-tipped hair, the slightly chubby cheeks, the confident swagger and the healthy streak of larrikin. Hand Steven Smith a bowl of baked beans and a cigarette and you would almost swear he was Shane Warne's younger brother. For now we will just enjoy his cricket before he becomes corrupted.

Tennis.....And now it's time for everyones favourite angry marsupial....Andy Murray. And is understandably mad. After declaring that Great Brittain would not lose the Hopman Cup to Spain...They did...ooops. Maybe you shouldnt have said anything dude.

Andy Roddick was quieter than usual as he won the Brisbane international against Redeck Stepanek. He was however quietly losing his mind over the line calls.
Andy has called for Hawk-Eye to be introduced to next year's Brisbane International after linecalling kept players on edge to the last game of the tournament. And if you don't do it, he aint commin back!...oooh theyre shaking in their boots. Im sure officials are sitting at home going: *gee I hope that whiney American comes back next year.*

On to more gracious winners. Kim Clijsters has won an epic all Belgian Final against the artist formerly known as 'Justine Hennin Hardenne': 6-3 4-6 7-6 (8-6) . And instead of bitching about the challenge system, Kim kindly donated her prize money to the Childrens Hospital in Brisbane. And was then reinstated as ' Our Aussie Kim'.

Soccer....A 10-man Newcastle outfit has outlasted Melbourne Victory to register a gallant 3-2 win in their Round 22 Hyundai A-League clash at EnergyAustralia Stadium on Sunday evening. The round was also littered with various draws.
Meanwhile in Europe, English fans didn't know what to do with themselves, as the Soccer was snowed out! A rare occurance, even for the Poms.

Basketball...The Melbourne Tigers continue their belated comeback trail, beating Woolongong again with a crushing 84 to 65 defeat!..raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!...
The Perth Wildcats have consolidated top spot on the NBL ladder with an 84-72 road victory over the Adelaide 36ers at 'The Dome' on Sunday.

Interviews...We chat to Les Rock, about their 2 upcoming rock climbing events in Midsumma. We also chat to tour director and Olympic Gold Medalist Mike Turtur, about this years 'Santos tour down under'. Only the best for y'all, none of that silver medal trash :-P.
