AUSSIE OPEN IS HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!...whether you like it or not

Tennis.....Geez it's been so long since we re-adopted our Jelena, took her back as an Aussie, and forgave her for everything cause it was all Dads fault. Tears of joy... Flash forward to 2010, and her coach and boyfriend are under Federal Police investigation after an in-flight incident last week. 'Dokic became emotional, eventually fighting tears and burying her face in a towel. She appeared disgruntled during the time the media was allowed to view the session and appeared unsure of her game, cursing as several shots hit the net'. Settle down Jelena, its only practice!

Onthe Eve of the Open this is not what we wanna see. As Guido Hatzis would say: 'Hey Jelena lesshh crying, more tenisshhh!'. Want to see more of this, now that you're an Aussie again:

Jelena has a tough first round match against Kleybanova. Day one of the Open is off to a flyer on centre court with sharapova, Clijsters and Murray in the day. Then at night our Peter 'Looch' luczak is up against Rapha Nadal. Ouch, tough first round Loochy. I have faith in iour boy. I saw him as a kid make it to the third round in an epic five setter, that went long into the evening on the outside courts. And to quote Looch as he signed autographs after the game: 'How good is this!!!!!!' You better bring it on Monday boy!...RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA....Other big guns in play are Roddick, Del Potro, Hennin, Gonzalez, Blake, and Petrova.

Cricket...... The Aussies have finally worked out a weak Pakistani side! But can we really take credit for working out the batting techniques of one of the most amateur sides going around?..Yes we can! According to our boys, we have discovered the the key to reverse swing! Australia heads into the last morning of the third and final Test today needing just six wickets to complete a 3-0 series win of a punch-drunk Pakistan. The tourists were floundering at 4-103 in pursuit of 438 when play ended, with 22.4 overs remaining. And with rain forecast today, the tourists may yet escape with a draw after all that thrashing!

Soccer....Robbie Kruse's scored a half ha trick- in a massive 6-2 win over Perth Glory on Saturday night. Melbourne Victory scored 3 goals in the first 10 minutes! And are still kings of the Soccer World...Now if they could just get back on top of the ladder!
Gold Coast United are however, back on top of the Hyundai A-League after an impressive 1-0 victory over Sydney FC at the SFS on Sunday.

Basketball....The Perth Wildcats have retained their top spot on the ladder by comprehensively defeating the Cairns Taipans 86-61. The Melbourne Tigers have held off a desperate Adelaide 36ers team to score a thrilling 89-97 victory at 'The Cage' on Saturday night. The Gold Coast Blaze made the situation worse for Adelaide with 104-89 victory.

Interviews....We talk to VIC tennis about their Midsumma Tennis Tournament. We also chat to Phillip Lietshkte, the liason for the Gay games in Germany this year. Phillip was in town for carnival with Olympic silver medalist, Jai Wallace. Fingers crossed Phillip will invite special guest, Olympic cyclist Michelle Ferris onto the show!...But only if you're good!

All that n more on the show that goes through more balls than Roger Federer.

Peace out*.
